CHICAGO (AP) Boston Celtics star guard Kyrie Irving is sitting out Monday night's game against the Chicago Bulls because of a bruised left quadriceps.
Irving, who is averaging 23.7 points a game, is missing his second game of the season. He scored 16 on 4-for-12 shooting in Sunday's win at Detroit.
Forward Marcus Morris (left knee rehab) also is out, and forward Al Horford (right knee) is questionable.
